Believe It Or Not, It’s Not Actually That Hard To Burn Belly Fat… This Is The Easiest Way To Do It

No one likes to carry around extra fat on them, and especially not on the belly. I think that’s something that we can all agree on.

If you’re looking for some insane method on how to get rid of that pesky belly fat that you might have collected, then stop, because there’s actually a much easier way. It might sound completely obvious when you hear it, but not a lot of people realize that it’s effective.

Australian personal trainer Luke Ashcroft has now revealed the real easiest way to burn body fat, and when you hear it, you’ll most likely think to yourself “Why didn’t I think of this sooner?”

‘Although you may need to take a long-term approach to ditching belly fat, it doesn’t mean that you have to take hours out of your day to achieve your goal,’ he told FEMAIL.

‘As little as 15 to 30 minutes a day of moderate intensity exercise can lead to decreases in visceral fat,’ he adds.

This might sound a bit scary, but a thicker waist, believe it or not, can increase the risk of heart attacks.

If you’re patient and plan your fat loss long-term, then even losing a small amount can be of huge benefits to your health.

‘Increasing intensity, according to your fitness, through High Intensity Interval Training is a great way to make your exercise sessions more efficient and effective,’ Luke said.

A good way to lose fat is a 30 minute High Intensity Interval Training, where you alternate between sprinting and walking.

This type of workout is good because it targets the stomach primarily.

And remember, it’s not just about how much activity you squeeze into your day. A much, much bigger factor in your weight loss (even bigger than the exercise) is a good diet.

‘Increasing your intake of whole grains, polyunsaturated fats and fruits and vegetables while decreasing your intake of processed and sugar-sweetened foods have all been shown to have a positive impact on visceral fat,’ Ashcroft added.

If getting in shape feels like a far-off goal, it’s time to turn that attitude around as even a small amount of weight loss can pay off

If you have “love handles” that you can pinch, Luke says that that’s all subcutaneous fat, which basically means the fat under your skin.

Visceral fat, however, is the one around your organs, which is why you should get rid of it quickly as it’s the one causing problems.

‘Visceral fat has been shown to produce hormones and inflammatory substances called cytokines,’ he explained.

‘Chronic inflammation caused by cytokines is associated with insulin resistance, hypertension, type 2 diabetes and atherosclerosis, all of which increase the risk of a heart attack.’

In case you don’t know, the distribution of fat around your body is entirely determined by your genetics. You might, for example, gain more fat around the legs than your stomach, and genetics also determine where fat disappears first, but in most people’s cases, leg and arm fat disappears first, and the stomach is unfortunately last.

‘In the same way that you put fat on in certain places before others, you’ll lose fat in certain places before others,’ Luke said.

‘It’s important to keep following the steps that have been shown to help people lose fat. Eating more fresh whole foods and incorporate HIIT exercises into your routine.’

In case “High Intensity Interval Training” sounds a bit too technical for you, all it is is just alternating between sprinting and walking.

The best way to do it is a minute of sprinting, followed by a minute of walking, and then repeat.

‘We often fall into the trap of thinking that to exercise we need to drive to the gym, change our clothes, walk on a treadmill for half an hour, get changed again and then drive back to where we came from,’ he said.

‘In reality, walking around the park, walking up a flight of stairs or doing some body weight exercises are all effective ways of getting more movement into our day.’
