Meet Bill. Bill is a former United States marine who lives in Dallas and spends his grandpa years as an online fitness influencer. Bill is also 67 years old and he’s ripped AF.
As the Metro reports, this super grandpa spends a minimum of two hours every day hitting the gym. But just doing it isn’t enough – Bill is an expert at rubbing salt in our wounds. He uploads his workouts on Instagram and makes everyone green with envy.
Being a ‘noob’ in the online world didn’t dissuade him, however.
“I was reposted on a group for over 40s who keep fit and all of a sudden, I had thousands of people following me and interested in how I managed to look like I do,” Bill explained.
RIPPED GRANDPA: Bill is living proof that everything is possible once you set your mind to it.
When asked for words of advice, Bill sagely said:
“I thought it would be a fun opportunity to speak with people about keeping fit and to maybe tell them how I keep in shape. I eat the same thing every day. I have oats, omelettes, chicken and salads. I don’t drink at all really – it never really agreed with me.”
That’s… A truly grandpa recipe. Each day before he hits the gym, Rambo Senior has not one, but two breakfasts followed by a chicken salad.
He also gives himself a day off from the routine. Imagine that. Not only is grandpa Bill killing the gym, he’s also being chill about it.
Grandpa Bill was an entertainer back in the ’70s.
But what is his secret?
“I’m not a personal trainer so I don’t really give professional advice. I just tell people what I do as they seem interested,” he humbly says.
“I have always eaten to stay alive. I see food as fuel. I am always trying to get my body fat down. I do get looks on the street and people pay me compliments. Some people are a bit envious at times but most people are supportive and like to see my progress.”
